Physical Activity simply means: movements of the body that uses energy.
Walking, jumping around, climbing the stairs, dancing to music, running around your garden are just a few examples.
Regular physical fitness can help children improve cardiorespiratory fitness, it can help to build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of developing health conditions such as heart disease.
At Millstead school we engage in physical activity in different ways such as 'simple action songs, exercise circuits and even yoga.
Below are some YouTube links to help you do some of the things at home that we do here at school.
