Hello and a very warm welcome from everybody in Willow Class. We are a mixed age PMLD class made up of 6 girls and 3 boys. Our teacher is Nick, our LSO is Vicky, our LSA's are Mo, Shelagh, Jackie and Cath and our apprentice is Jodie. Our topic for the 2nd Spring half term is 'Italy'. It has been very interesting learning about a different culture and all of the exciting sensory experiences that come with it. Each week we have focused on one aspect of Italian life, for example we have had a pasta week, a pizza week and an Italian landmarks week. We have incorporated our topic theme across all of our sessions including our sensory stories, tac time and educational visits. Alongside our Italy topic, we have enjoyed a week celebrating World Book Day and have taken part in lots of different activities based around our book 'There's a Lion in my Cornflakes'. In Willow class we enjoy being active as much as we can and like to spend weekly sessions on the trampoline and in the swimming pool, as well as accessing lots of fun activities at MOVE circuits. Take a look at the links below to see some of our hard work from this half term.
