We LOVE to get messy in Willow class and our creative sessions allow us to do this. We love exploring different resources to make our artwork and for this half term we have focused on making different circus art. We have thrown paint covered sponges at clown pictures to 'splat' them, we have made choices between different materials and colours to make clown masks and we have grabbed and stuck popcorn fresh from the microwave onto a popcorn tub.
We also enjoy taking part in cookery sessions. We enjoy all the smells and textures of the different ingredients that we explore to make our creations, taking lots of time to explore each ingredient. As part of our circus topic, we have made rocky road using popcorn and clown faces using wraps, tomatoes for a nose and spiralised carrot for the orange clown hair!
