Our Sensory story this term is 'Teddy Bears Picnic'. Children use all of their senses in the story and have lots of fun!
One sunny morning, I decided to take my teddy bear, Bertie, for a picnic in the woods!
As we set off on our journey through the woods, I could feel the crunchy leaves rustling beneath my feet...
We were trying to find the perfect picnic spot, when suddenly I began to get cold!
So, I got my woolly scarf out of my bag and wrapped up warm!
As Bertie and I carried on our search for the perfect picnic spot, I noticed lots of strange wooden things on the ground...they were pine cones!
We continued to walk through the woods when I heard a sound...It was our friend, Mrs. Owl, who had came to say hello!
Suddenly, out of nowhere, there came a gust of wind! Bertie and I got swept up, twirling, whirling and swirling all around the woods!
Luckily, after a short while the wind has stopped. “Look!” I shouted to Bertie. I had found the perfect picnic spot under the big Pine tree! So, Bertie and I sat and had our picnic of jam sandwiches!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
