Rebound in Redwood class takes place every Wednesday morning. There are an array of benefits for the children. Physically, rebound promotes balance, muscle strength, stamina and coordination. Rebound also supports and develops communication skills, sensory processing and independence. Most importantly the children enjoy the activity immensely and as a result this creates confident, happy children.

Intensive interaction with Matthew, I am copying Matthews movements to create a dialog between us, thank you for our lovely conversation Matthew.
Sabotage
We have been using the sabotage technique to temp Children including Natalie here in this video to verbally communicating with us in rebound. We do an activity the children enjoy but pause at a critical point and do not resume till the child indicates that they want to continues with a movement or verbally.

Jack and the Beanstalk
Our story this term is ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. In rebound we have been acting out the story, travelling across the trampoline in a variety of ways throughout. Some of the movements we have been doing include, crawling when depicting climbing up the beanstalk and tiptoe when sneaking past the giant.
