Thursday 3rd December 2020

During wet play we had so much fun with the PE equipment. We all took turns and share and just had fun whilst it rained outside.

Autumn 1 term

In PE we have been improving our catching skills with a range of balls and bean bags.

Larger objects move more slowly and are easier to track visually, we have been preparing the children to watch the object in the thrower's hand using verbal cues such as "look" "ready" "catch". Check out the pictures.

What's the time Mr Wolf?

What's the time Mr Wolf has been a favourite game in chestnut class with the children, the children call out "what's the time Mr Wolf ?"

Mr Wolf turns around and the children move forward. We have been supporting the children counting to three so we have been moving forward one, two and three steps.

What's the time Mr Wolf?
