We take part in a numeracy session every day. These will stay the same all week to help us gain the skill we are learning and to help us complete the session a bit more independently once we are used to it. Some of the sessions we have taken part in include matching different coloured bugs to their matching leaves, grouping different sized flowers together and counting 5 Mo Farah's around the school as part of our book week activities. Some of us learn our numeracy best through number rhymes. These last for 2/3 weeks and help us build anticipation and to take part more independently as well as being lots of fun! The 2 number rhymes we have done in spring 2 half term have been 5 speckled frogs and 5 little ducks. We have really enjoyed splashing the animals in the water and pressing the switch to join in the song.
