Christmas 2020

This year we decorated our school meeting room and each class were given a day to visit our Christmas Café.

We would like to thank Traci from COSTA on Jennifer Avenue for her generous donation of Costa cups, Christmas syrups and hot chocolate, we would also like to thank Ann our wonderful school cook for providing lovely M & S mince pies, milk, bread and plates for us, also Vickey for making some gingerbread porridge and pureed apple with cinnamon for Pine and Willow class.

Kirsty and Sharon set up each morning, making Christmas tree sandwiches, Christmas tree shaped toast, Santa fruit kebabs, yummy Christmas biscuits and much more.

The children came in small groups, enjoyed a dance or watching the Grinch with their friends.

It was a great opportunity to feel 'Christmassy' and have lots of fun.

An Easter egg hunt!

During the last week of the term, activities were set up around the school to celebrate Easter. Easter eggs were put up around the climbing wall and children were able to collect them while they climbed. It was fantastic to watch different children push themselves in order to collect more eggs!

Achievement Assembly 2016

Every year we celebrate the amazing achievement of all our wonderful children, we do praise assemblies each week but this is the 'big one' with trophies and special awards. Our 100% attendees also get a special mention.

Michelle led the assembly and it was a pleasure to see the children beam with pride. Sadly we also had to say goodbye to staff moving on to new jobs. We will miss all of our leavers - children and staff alike.

Here are few pictures of today's ceremony...

Leavers' Assembly 2016

We said goodbye to our 14 leavers on to pastures new. The assembly was a tear jerker as usual and Michelle did her best to read out her speeches without a wobble in her voice. It was a wonderful occasion and all the children received their Oscars. Here are a few pictures of the leavers in their finery.

Welcome to the gallery! Please enjoy browsing the children’s work.

This week we have had a Music Festival Week. Our theme has been 'Street Life'. We have explored a wide variety of activities including dance workshops from Brouhaha on Monday and Wednesday on music and movement, designing grafitti artwork, following instructions to make street food in cookery and making our own instruments from recycled materials, making masks, learning raps, exploring different instruments and using ICT software to compose and explore music.

Glee Club attended Foxfield School on Thursday to perform infront of lots of other schools.

On Friday we had a celebration assembly and each class displayed what they had been working on throughout the week. Overall the week was a great success and the children had lots of fun while learning!
