Cookery in redwood class takes place every Tuesday morning. Cookery is a fantastic opportunity to explore our senses with different tastes, smells and textures. All the mixing, mashing, spreading and rolling develops the children’s fine motor skills. The children follow a visual recipe to help the children cook as independently as possible.

The children are using communication boards to make choices during cookery. The children will choose their pizza base, sauce and toppings. Each week there will be more ingredients to choose from.
