Hello and welcome to Beech Class' webpage. We have 6 boys and 6 girls in our class.
Our teacher is called Colm, our adults are LSO Vicky, Donna, Jenna and Yvonne. We also have LSO Sharon supporting us.
Jo teaches us how to swim and supports our learning in the swimming pool.
Liam and Lizzie support us with sensory circuits and climbing on our amazing climbing wall.
We also have lots of fun developing our independent living skills in the cookery room every week with Vicky where we learn how to stay safe in the kitchen and follow recipes to make lots of tasty things.
We are always busy in Beech Class and we are working on developing our independence in lots of different ways. We love to learn through play and in all of the fabulous areas of the school. We use the rebound room and pool to enhance our maths and literacy sessions as well as to help us to keep healthy and do lots of exercise. We also enjoy getting out and about and exploring in the community.
We hope you enjoy our page and come back and visit regularly to see what we have been getting up to.
This autumn term the children have started their new dinosaur topic. Already we have seen a fantastic amount of enthusiasm from the children as they start to identify the different dinosaurs that we will be learning about.
“The dinosaur has a long neck”
“The dinosaur has little arms”
“The dinosaur is green”
We have been bringing dinosaurs to literacy and numeracy learning too. As we learn and grow we will upload our work here.
