Welcome to Beech Class.
Hannah is our class teacher and is supported by Rachel, Angela, Jack, Claire and Lauren.
Sophie is our link teacher and she helps us swim on Thursday mornings.
Sharon is our Learning Support Officer who supports our class trips on Fridays.
We have 5 boys and 4 girls; Tanish, Sean, Brody, Jamie and Tolaz, Isla, Mia, Libby and Ashley.

Spring Term 2: Africa
Literacy - Handa's Surprise, The Lion King & Giraffe's Can't Dance
Numeracy - Number recognition, sequencing & shape.
Knowledge and Understanding of the World - African animals & tasting African food
Cookery - Measuring and mixing. A range of different African foods.
Music - Body percussion
Creative - Colour mixing using a variety of different ingredients
PE - Climbing - Using the climbing wall to follow instructions and increase core stability/ strength.
Swimming - Independent changing and confidence in the water
Educational Visits - Safari - finding different animals around our city!

Christmas is approaching and we have so many fun activities planned.
Friday 6th December - Christmas Markets
Thursday 12th December - Christmas Play
Friday 13th December - Beech Classes Christmas trip to Rainford Christmas Tree Land
Wednesday 18th December - Christmas Dinner
Thursday 19th December - We will be meeting Father Christmas himself!! And Christmas Party Day (Children can wear party clothes).
We cannot wait to see our parents at some of these events and thank you for your support with costumes.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World - Maps and locations, history of Liverpool, floating and sinking, testing materials and forces.

Music - All things 'Beatles' - listening, exploring and enjoying The Beatles.
Art - Creating the Liverpool skyline with a range of materials and making sculptures of famous Landmarks
