Tool Use
During Forest School children have the opportunity to learn some new skills and use some tools, including the bow saw, sheath knife, hand drill and loppers! A lot of the children really enjoy the more practical aspect to learning and are so quick to pick up these new skills. By using the tools we develop our fine and gross motor skills, follow visual and verbal instructions and learn about safety when using tools.
