Pine Class

Hello and welcome to Pine class.

We are a mixed aged class of 7 pupils aged between 5 and 11.  There are 2 girls and 5 boys!  The teacher in our class is Michelle and we have 4 great LSA's who help us lots, they are Anna, Karen, Maria and Debbie.  We also have a new apprentice in our class called Georgia.  Debbie is also the MOVE co-ordinator in school.

This term Pine Class have been working on the topic 'The Farm'. They have visited Tam O'Shanter's Farm, made lots of farm animals in art, learnt about The Farm during the sensory story and made lots of different breads. It's been a busy term but we have had lots of fun with the soil, hay and feathers!

This half term our topic has been number rhymes.  We have focused on well known number rhymes as well as learning some new ones! We enjoyed '5 Wicked Witches', '5 Big Dinosaurs' and '5 Sharks Swimming'.  We complete art, mark making and cookery in relation to these songs and have made created great artwork and enjoyed a Number Hunt in our sensory story.

As we come up to Christmas we are going to learn '5 Little Christmas Trees', '5 Little Snowmen' and '8 Little Reindeer'. We are also going to begin to make items to sell at our Christmas Fair as well as practice our Christmas Play and enjoy all the Christmas related fun that is organised.
